Welcome!

This is a new sort of function we're introducing at FAAR. We'd like to start a feedback blog about the new service BookAShowing.com. What are your concerns? Do you have problems with any of the functions?

Now is the time to voice your opinion! Let us know what you think...ESPECIALLY during the trial period. The folks at BAS are GREAT with modifying the system to fit the needs of our members.

I do not think enough companies are trying to use this product. only 1 or 2 out of 10 times i have tried to set up showings with this have i received confirmation through it. i still have to call the offices.

great idea, but without boardwide support i don't think this is here to stay

I love BookaShowing. One thing agents can do to help get the ball rolling is in the MLS space where it says "To Show:" agents should put in the word BookAShowing instead of call office or their phone number. I especially like the text feature. I get notified via text everytime I have a showing.

Not working for me! Had an agent use the service for a short time notice to show a listing. If she hadn't called me to confirm, I would have missed an opportunity to show my listing because I do not check my e-mail every 5 minutes. I want to talk personally with every agent who shows my properties. I want to know who is going into my listings and give them additional information in many cases.

I do not feel this program will work for me. I prefer to speak with the agent scheduling a showing on my listings. I check my e-mails as often a possible but I can't check them as often as I check my cell phone messages. I prefer to receive a call and check the ID of the agent.

I do not feel we need to be notified on our cell phones for appointments by text message - why not just call the agent? Are we just trying to impress the FAAR membership or general public with just how computer savvy we have become. Let's not forget how computer savvy the "fISBO" companies have become. They are growing by leaps & bounds. I recently lost two listings, which sold quickly on FISBO web sites. I guess the sellers figured we do most things on-line, so personal contact isn't worth them paying commission.
